Tetracycline-Free Fetal Bovine Serum

Trace amounts of the antibiotic tetracycline (tet) may be present in fetal bovine serum to ensure precise gene expression. However, researchers often encounter unexpected gene expression problems when using sensitive tetracycline induced regulatory expression systems. To ensure accurate gene expression, the serum contains as few tetracyclines as possible. This product can be used in cell cultures using tetracycline sensitive expression systems and other tetracycline sensitive experiments. Tetracycline detection content was about 0.001ug/mL.
