Low IgG Fetal Bovine Serum

Low IgG fetal bovine serum contains only naturally low levels of lgG. IgG is the primary immunoglobulin in animal sera, a natural serum component involved in immune function and the only immunoglobulin that can cross the placenta. Artificial removal of IgG results in decreased serum performance and natural fetal bovine serum lgG interferes with cell culture.
